Christmas

The term has ended and Christmas is upon us, quite quickly it seems too!  Doesn't seem long ago that I was enjoying the summer sun and revelling in the idea of going back to uni for the last year.

And this also means that the run is getting ever closer and now that I have completed my refereeing fitness test, with a very pleasing result, I need to start training big time.  The plan, is still slightly unknown but a lot of running for lots of time will need to be done.  I think a good way to kick off the start of training is a good cross country run with my Dad and his work colleagues on their Christmas run outing this coming Wednesday!

Christmas will be a tough period to juggle family, friends, running and of course the dirty R word of revision but it can be done with some determination and probably a lot of Red Bull (or stimulant drink of choice).

I can also use this time away from the pressures of uni life to gather a few ideas for fund raising and put them into action in the new year so be sure to look out for bake sales, pub quizzes and lots of other inventive (hopefully) ideas to help me along my way to achieving a good amount of the Alzheimer's charity.

I wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year and I'm sure you will see me jogging around at some point!
